History:

Night Shift Cult Productions Co. was formed in 2006 and is based in South Florida. This was a concept that I decided to take to the next level. I've had the great fortune to meet, and become friends with, very talented people, photographers, screenwriters, visual and make-up artists. We sat around critiquing movies from old to new. Commenting on some of the subtle nuances the writer or director would put in. Horror films that affected us in different ways, from seeing the half-naked coeds running through a burning building being chased by a machete wielding zombie maniac from another planet to the terror that is felt by not seeing anything at all but watching the body count increase because the one person you would never suspect is doing all the killing. Comedies that still make us laugh when a line is blurted out and realizing turn of phrases that some of us never thought of. Dramas so deep and moving that in some aspects made us change little pieces of ourselves. That is a lot of film over the short span of our lives but that also allowed us to do what we do and be who we are now.

I, along with some of my cohorts, agree that there has been an influx of remakes that we want to do something about it, take some of the ideas that we've thrown around in conversation and put them on film. This was the birth of Night Shift Cult Productions Co. Our mission is to make movies. New, interesting, maybe comedic or terrifying, whatever we come up with that works to entertain you and us.

How about a little introduction to the people behind the madness. Our current cast of characters:

-Jerry Carter, Jr.-

-Woody Meckes-

-Jim Sweet-

-Barbara Austrich Rivero-

BlackJack's background is something very different. An ancient, given corporeal form as a means to entertain the Titans that created me. I, in the short spans of time until eternity finally takes me, have experienced countless wonders. Some of these have been good and others not so, in fact, some have almost brought me to the point of tears. This has hardened what some would consider a heart and given me voice to the changes that occur around me. You may actually find these observations hit a little too close to home. Draw from your own experiences and open your eyes and ears to what reality has to show.
